Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and repair main engines, generators, and auxiliary machinery • Monitor engine room operations and perform routine inspections • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems • Ensure compliance with maritime safety and environmental regulations • Participate in emergency response procedures • Maintain detailed maintenance logs and reports Work Environment: • Modern engine room with advanced monitoring systems • Work with experienced international engineering team • Opportunity to learn about the latest marine technology • Challenging technical work in a dynamic environment
• Marine Engineering degree or equivalent certification • Valid Chief Engineer or Second Engineer license • Minimum 3 years experience on commercial vessels • Knowledge of diesel engines, generators, and marine systems • Familiarity with ISM Code and MARPOL regulations • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work in confined spaces and high-temperature environments • STCW Basic Safety Training and Advanced Fire Fighting certificates • Medical certificate valid for sea service
