As Automation Systems Specialist, you will maintain and optimize electronic control systems throughout the vessel. You'll service building management systems, HVAC controls, power management systems, and automated machinery. You'll also program control logic, troubleshoot system issues, perform software updates, and ensure efficient operation of automated processes. You'll work closely with the engineering department to maintain and improve ship automation for optimal performance and energy efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Automation, or related field. Certification in industrial automation or control systems. Minimum 3+ years of experience with automated control systems. Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and building management systems. Experience with programming and configuring control equipment. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Understanding of system integration and network communications. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Experience with energy management and optimization preferred.
