As Navigation Electronics Specialist, you will maintain and repair electronic navigation equipment essential for safe ship operations. You'll service radar systems, electronic chart display systems (ECDIS), global positioning systems (GPS), automatic identification systems (AIS), and other bridge electronics. You'll also perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, maintain spare parts inventory, and ensure compliance with maritime regulations. You'll work closely with the bridge team to ensure reliable operation of critical navigation systems.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field. Certification in marine navigation electronics. Minimum 3+ years of experience with marine navigation systems. In-depth knowledge of radar, ECDIS, GPS, and AIS technologies. Experience with calibration and testing of navigation equipment. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Understanding of maritime regulations regarding navigation equipment. STCW certification and basic safety training.
